The Many Badass Boyfriends of Dean Winchester

If Supernatural is the epic battle for the rights to be Dean Winchester’s biggest, baddest obsessive boyfriend—as I believe it is—then Deacon Kaylor is only not the resident champion because of the comparatively brief length of his claim. If he had been in the race as long as, say, Alastair or Zachariah—certainly YEDads or Gordon—not only would they be the challengers but he would beat them handily with nothing but his baton. Sam and Castiel would both break a sweat. Look at this. This is how we are introduced to Deacon Kaylor.

He walks into the room and as everyone clears a path, he walks right up to Dean and puts Dean’s face at the end of the phallic symbol of his authority. Screw foreplay, right? And he tilts Dean’s head back with his baton, and everyone around him is thinking YES THIS EXACTLY and FUCK YOU DEACON because what he is saying right now with this demonstration is that he will be cockblocking every inmate and every prison guard for as long as this pretty new face is around. Dean thinks he knows how this place works, but Deacon really knows, and he opens Dean’s eyes for him but fast. No courtship, no foreplay. After establishing his claim, he turns and walks back out of the room as cool as you please, tapping the inmate who fought Dean with this phallic symbol of his authority as if to say, I’m watching you. And he doesn’t even watch his back at all, because he is just that badass, and Dean has hearts in his eyes, calling out to Sam, “Are we having fun yet?” because shit just got good.

That’s just Scene 1. What else does he do? He reinforces his claim in a later fight by first manhandling Dean’s pretty face, then punching him in the gut with the phallic symbol of his authority, then holding his head down forcefully at crotch level. Making Dean his prison bitch again. All in public again. What else does he do? He puts both of Dean’s assailants in lock-down where they both end up dying in horrific fashion. (He’s a lucky guy.) When Sam and Dean stage their fight near the end, he grabs hold of Dean from behind with full body contact and keeps Dean in place with the phallic symbol of his authority. Again, making Dean his prison bitch in public. All of this is by design. Who will touch Dean now that hardass Kaylor has staked his claim? That is to say: Deacon is actually doing in canon what Sam/Jared/assorted have done for Dean/Jensen in fic in order to protect his pretty ass. That is to say: Deacon is Dean’s actual, on-screen prison boyfriend. If this were on HBO, we would have had the video.

Once they leave public view, he is all aglow with that lazy, morning-after touchy-feeliness and all “aww, baby, you’re a natural.” He continues to flirt knowingly with Dean because Dean kind of did love it like that, just a bit. (Meanwhile, Sam is like “GUYS. GUYS. I’M RIGHT HERE. IN HANDCUFFS. REALLY AWKWARD RIGHT NOW. REALLY AWKWARD.”) They discuss the case and say goodbye, and Deacon praises John a bit because he’s thinking, “You remind me of your daddy,” and Dean smiles because he’s thinking, “You remind me of my daddy,” and they probably mean it not at all sexually, but the general reek of satiated lust is such that Sam’s like “GUYS, THIS IS JUST INCREDIBLY INAPPROPRIATE RIGHT NOW.” Deacon gives Sam a friendly enough hug, but his attention is already on Dean before that hug is over, and then he cuddles with Dean for a few heartbeats while Sam wonders if he should intervene. And he gives Dean that longing Castiel-flavored look as Dean walks by because he is well and truly smitten from all the hardcore prison sex. And at the very end before Dean walks out of his life, Deacon lets him top, being all “make it good, baby” about it, and Dean’s like, “you can count on it” and “I sort of love you a lot right now.” Meanwhile, it’s really not surprising that Sam is in such a panic to get out of that prison.

In any case, here he is: Deacon Kaylor. All of the above takes place in a single episode. One. Deacon covers all of the inappropriate looming and physical contact of YEDad, Sampa, Castiel, Zachariah, Gordon, evil!Sam, assorted vampires, Cupid, etc., and is only shy of the outright physical torture that Alastair is so fond of. What’s more? He claims Dean’s ass, makes Dean glow about it, makes Sam cry about it, and gets two competitors killed for it. And he still has time left over at the end for a role reversal, which makes Dean glow—and Sam cry—all over again.

Deacon. I’m just sayin’, folks. Deacon Kaylor.

okay so i don’t usually add stories to reblogs but i HAVE TO in this case

a couple years ago i was on a roadtrip with my family. i had to pee really bad so we pulled into a subway parking lot and i ran in, also to get cookies for us so i wouldn’t just be rudely using the bathroom and ditching. when i came out of the bathroom these three really hot police officers were sitting near the beginning of the line and another one was in the line in front of me. i am pretty easily intimidated by attractive people, so i just quietly stood in line behind him. once i was done i went to grab a couple of napkins and i didn’t want to pipe up that one of them was in my way so i awkwardly coughed to catch his attention. one of the guys sitting down kind of snickered at me and was like “he doesn’t bite you know” and the guy in the way TURNED AROUND AND WINKED AND MADE THIS FLIRTY GROWLING NOISE AT ME and i fucking SQUEAKED and apologized and walked out of there so quickly my face was so red

I think it’s really sweet how some fans re act to gifs or videos of the bands they like. like, look at these guys^^ they’re so happy. They might of been having the worst day ever, then they saw this and it made them smile. Its kind of amazing how much bands and their music can affect their fans.
